it was sooooo weird tho wen i was watchin them on tv (cos it was the blue peter jubilee party) and it sed 'aaron cant be here tho, cos hes havin his appendix out' and there i was in hospital like me too

Calvin: last time we saw you, we were S Club Juniors and now we’re S Club 8. Erm we’ve grown up quite a lot now, and we’ve got a new album coming out which is a lot erm more adult than the old one.
Aaron: yeah our music’s changed quite a lot since the last album, it’s a lot more mature and like as we’re getting older I, so’s music- and were enjoying it a lot more now.

Frankie: erm the bands we really erm rate at the moment are er Liberty X, Sugababes eeerm we really like Jamelia and Big Brovaz as well. They’ve all got really –new-good songs at the moment.

Jay: we’ve met loads of famous people like erm, we’ve met Beyonce, and we’ve met Victoria Beckham, and people like that. We (little laugh) we saw Christina Aguilera walk down the corridor (laugh) and were so star struck (laugh) it was so funny.

Stacey: Erm when were not doing like erm TV performances and like interviews and everything, erm 4 of us, 4 of us stay in a house together at London, and 4… the other 4 go home to Essex, cause they live in Essex and its not that far away to come up here everyday, and I think what we do is just homework aaaand watch a bit of telly and just relax really.
Calvin: at the moment we do tutoring with some tutors that come round to the house and everything everyday, and erm we don’t go to school anymore because we’re living away from home and things, and were working all the time so we have to fit the tutors and everything in the week and we have to do 15 hours a week so.

There’s these fans called The Ketchup Girls and they’re like these 4 girls from I think around Birmingham area, and they always come to like, if were in Birmingham, they’ll come and see us. Erm on tour they brought us a great big (big arm gestures) Easter basket of chocolate, and they gave me a bottle of ketchup (laugh) and they made like, they customise their own t-shirts like us and everything.
Daisy: they’re really like, dedicated fans aren’t they?!
Others: Yeeaah
Daisy: they’ll do eeeverything for us.
Frankie: whenever we’re on a programme where u can send in an email or a message they always send in a message saying ‘do u remember us? We’re the ketchup girls!’
Rochelle (at the same time as Frankie): ‘The Ketchup Girls say ‘Hi!’ (laugh)
Stacey: (laughing voice!): yeeaah!
Frankie: and it’s really weird cause they always seem to, like, they’re always there
Stacey: yeah, you’re just, you just think ‘how come they’re always catching up with all this stuff?!’ (kind of laughing)
Frankie: yeah, it’s really nice
