So yeah, Still in mourning over PSN I decided to post my story again here on the new board. I began writing it again cause this school year ended for me so I have a lot of free time now ;D
Sooooo, enjoy
Ow btw, it's FCF
Chapter 1
I hear somebody come in and a sweet blond girl says “Hiya hun!”
It was my girlfriend Evelyn. I was dating her for 3 years now and I couldn’t see my life before me without her anymore.
She gave me a quick kiss and starts talking about her day. I wasn’t very interested and could only focus my thoughts on everything else but her. I really tried hard to focus on Evelyn.
She wasn’t that tall but she had a very nice slim figure and her eyes sparkled every minute of the day. She just talked and talked with her cheekily voice. How does she do that and never gets out of breath? One of the many mysteries of girls.
She said something about her work or her boss or something. She worked at a big magazine business and was quite successful.
I decided to give up paying attention.
“that’s great babe”, I said while I stood up.
“whohoo, did you even listened to what I said just now?” She sounded a little annoyed. I couldn’t blame her, I wasn’t a great listener at this time.
“Yeah off course I did!” I gave her a quick peck on her cheek and said,
“Well I have to work on a song I started today, and you just gave me some inspiration!” I said to make her satisfied. I love her with all my heart but I could handle her too beside the loads of work I still had to do .
I left her and walked into my ‘workroom’. You couldn’t really call it my workroom because it mainly consisted of a BIG TV with my play-station an lots of games lying everywhere. There was also a comfy couch and my guitar against it. In the corner of the room there was a little cabinet with a lock on it, nobody was ever allowed to open it and even I almost never opened it.
There was off course my desk in here with a computer on it that I used as little as possible. I was a disaster with computers. Evelyn encouraged me to use it more but she could talk easy about it, she was the expert. No, I preferred just a pen and paper.
I flopped on the couch and tried to get back to my writers-block. Suddenly the phone rang. “I’ll get it!” I shouted out to Evelyn.
“Hey stud”, I hear on the other end of the line. I smiled.
“hi Franks, what’s up?” I said as casual as possible.
“Nothing much, big glamorous parties, huge paychecks and endless jewelry!” She said giggling.
“You diva!” I said returning the joke. Frankie was indeed very successful and I always envied her, she and her great success. I loved my career but it would be great to be that successful again.
“So, whazzup with you?” She said cheekily. She was obviously in a good mood.
“Well, you know, the usual. Having a major writing-block, AGAIN. I’m at home now, with Evelyn, if you were wondering” I said very casual again.
“ow right, still together I see, how is she?”
“great, thanks..” I hear a sign coming out of Frankie.
A silence falls. It was a weird silence, like the topic Evelyn just immediately breaks or closeness. I decided to ignore the weirdness. “so, we should have dinner some day!”
“yeah that would be great!”
“Are you sure there’s still room in your tight diva schedule?”
“silly, there’s always time for you my dear!” She said laughing. I grinned, I just loved our friendship, Frankie was my best friend ever.
“so it’s settled than, love to hear more about your diva life but I should go now. I have tons of work to do now..” I let out a sign.
“aww you pour thing, well I shouldn’t be a burden to you anymore, good luck babe!” And with that she hang up.
I hear Evelyn shouting dinner is ready. “Great, now I’m never going to finish this d**n song!” I stood up and left the room.
Chapter 2
“Hey Frankie, It’s me Emily. Just calling to tell you your photo-shoot is postponed again. I’m really sorry, I tried everything to get some sense in those idiots but they kept whining about the fact that the photographer is very busy and stuff. So I guess your afternoon is now wide open! Go and have some fun, I know you’re dying to go shopping for the newest collection! Well, that was it for now. Talk to you later!”
Great, just my luck. I couldn’t blame Emily. She worked her butt of ever since she started working for me as my as sistant. She became a really close friend and without her I would be a big mess I think. What to do, what to do. I guess I could go shopping, I really needed an update to my wardrobe. But I didn’t want to go alone so I decided I would stop by Calvin. He would probably want to go me. Well, probably not, but I could talk him into it. I smiled. I could always talk Calvin into doing things. I remembered that time we ended up on the airport on our way to Las Vegas. We didn’t go eventually because we realized it was just to crazy. Hehe, Calvin was the best mate I could ever think of. Not only did we always have the greatest time together, he was always there for me and I loved him for that. Wait, love? No Franks, can’t say that word in the same sentence as Calvin. I was over him a long time ago remember. I’m not going to think about that now. He was your mate, period.
So, I got my stuff and walked to my car. It wasn’t an impressive car like all the celebrities have. I got it the first minute I got my drivers-license. I was really attached to it. Everybody said I should get a new car and my father kept saying “my little girl can’t drive this piece of junk! Get a new one” but I was very stubborn and kept it anyway because I had just really good memories with it. Like the time we all got together again and just cruised with it and put on the radio really loud and we’d all just sang the whole time. Or when I first heard my album reached number one in the UK, it was in this car.
I could drive to Calvin with her eyes closed, every curve, every traffic light, I knew them all by heart.
When S Club 8 just broke up and Calvin didn’t knew Evelyn yet, you could find Frankie always at Calvin’s. She’d just hang there, and she felt at ease there. But then there came Evelyn. That pretty little girl. And she was nice to, Frankie had to admit. And she was perfect for Calvin, just perfect. But Frankie felt weird to keep hanging there so she’d just almost never came there anymore. She always met Calvin at restaurants, at music industry things and that sort of stuff.
I finally reached Calvin’s apartment, got up with the stairs ‘cause I hated the elevator, and knocked on the door. I was surprised Evelyn opened. Ow right, she lives her too…
“Hi Frankie, nice to see you!” She said very nice. God, why is she always so nice! Now I don’t have any reason to hate her
“Ow hey Evelyn, uhm…Is Calvin at home?” I say trying not to look at her.
“I’m very sorry, he left just half an hour ago. He said he had some important meeting with Allan. I don’t know when he will be back.”
I signed. “Ok, thanks anyway. Bye!”
“Bye Frankie!” She replied happy.
So, I’m of to going shopping on my own. As I walk by the shops I feel very lonely. I decide to go home, I’m not in the mood for shopping anymore.
Well, this has been a great day. What did I accomplice? Nothing, beside going all the way to Calvin’s for nothing. I feel sad and decide to order pizza.
Sooooo, enjoy
