S Club 8 have a lot to thank their former namesakes - S Club for. The junior pop gang were of course originally hand picked by the senior S Clubbers, along with Simon Fuller, to join the 'Club, and regularly supported Rachel and co. on tour, so how were they coping without them now?

"We're doing alright without them, but we all really miss them still," said Frankie, whose biggest dream is to go solo one day . "But I think we all really pleased that they've grown, and that they're doing what they wanna do now, it's really weird without them though. It was a bit like your brothers and sisters leaving home."

So what do the pop scoundrels make of Rachel Stevens' solo career so far. "We all love Rachel's single, she's so cool."

S Club 8's new album Sundown is out October 13, while the single is Sundown is currently sitting pretty in the Top 10.

Me too! I was baulin! I was a big S Club 7 fan but, I kinda lost intrest when they became S Club. I don't no y through.

i remember the day that was announced.... i was soooo upset i cried a lot.... paul was one of my faves aswell....

The day that was announced was the best day ov mi life. . . until I found that out. Cos I had met Hannah and Paul earlier that day. I was still so happy about meeting them, the second I found out I burst in2 tears and didnt stop 4 ages. I foned mi best m8 up who was wiv me wen we met em and I was crying down the fone goin. . .
