There is hardly any solid actual fact that he quoted insie that article, things like "I have no doubt that Jay's tutoring has dropped off" or "rumours persist that the youngsters are over-tired" are just his speculative comments.
There is nothing wrong whatsoever with not living at home. Hello? Has he heard of boarding schools? Personally I left my home country to come to UK when I was only 14, and attended a boarding school here. Of course I missed my parents very much, since I only get to see them during holidays like Christmas and the summer hols, but being in a boarding school with friends 24 hours a day was the best time of my life.
All in all there is nothing solid that back up anything he said in that article, just another example of how the British press love to trash anybody who is successful, looking for sleazy stories that aren't there in order to generate interest and increase newspaper sales.

also the report has no direct quotes from s club 8 saying that they miss home and stuff, obviously they miss their family and friends but they get to gome home loads and theyre doing wot they love and enjoying themselves. And theres no proof Daisy fainted, she might have just fallen over or something like that and someone told someone else who changed it a bit until it ended up that she fainted.

Yes the only real quote in the article was from the school teacher who says "The minders ruled the band with an iron fist. They would not let anyone see them before the act." which is fair enough since they were probably getting ready for the act (dressing up, make-up, etc. etc.). The other "quote" was from a "source" which is basically newspaper talk for "I am lying for this bit" ;D

Aaannnnnnnddddddddd also on the story when they were visiting Hannahs school, there were like 60 school kids crowded round Hannah and she was hugging them all and stuff, so obviuosly they were allowed near them...

Yes probably after they finished heir act and then they went out and meet the kids.
Like any pop act or show you tend to hide away before the performance in order to generate more excitement and anticipation when they eventually come on and do the act.
